New Toy. I just picked up this Uniden Bcd325p2

N5XQK Boredom Breakers Net 1300-1400 Eastern Time - Via KG4HOT 220 System

 I have stumbled upon a mid day net called the N5XQK Memorial Boredom Breakers Net.  The net controllers are members of the Roger County Wireless Association in Oklahoma. 

The net runs here in the east from 1300-1400 due to automatic un-linking.  It is a real fun time.  Amateurs from all over check in.  

I connect via the KG4HOT 220 mhz allstar group.

Alinco MD-DJ5XT - New Radio

 Update: December 3, 2021 

I no longer own this radio.  It was a great radio.  My only issue was that the screen was too small when displaying the information from the DMR contact database. 

I have a new radio in the shack.  I will be opening the box this weekend.  This is the 2nd generation of the Alinco MD-DJ5 series DMR radio.
